Formål / Sammendrag:

Del-1: The aim is to conduct a set of experiments to study the simultaneous removal of particles and phosphates. The removal rates of the particles and phosphates are reported to depend on the pre-polymerisation ration of coagulants and the ratio of particles to phosphates in wastewater in addition to the operational conditions as pH, mixing, temperature etc.

The particles and phosphates removal are measuring for coagulants with different levels of pre-polymerization in coagulant, variable wastewater composition and varying dosage.

Del-2: The simultaneous dosage of cationic (anionic) polymers and Metal coagulants is the best strategy applicable for an effective removal of particles and soluble orthophosphates.

Series of jar tests have made for studying of the particles and phosphates removal for ALS coagulant, 3 cationic polymers with different strength and 1 non-ionic (anionic) polymer, variable wastewater composition, and varying dosages.
